David Cole is well respected in the hockey community for both his knowledge of the game and his passion for youth hockey.

Cole spent 3 years with the NHL Atlanta Thrashers as Fan Development   Manager before joining the NHL Tampa Bay Lightning as their Director of Fan   Development. During his eight years with the Lightning, David produced five Statewide Amateur Hockey of Florida (SAHOF) High School State Championships, five Chicago Showcase teams, while coaching Team Florida U14 Girls, the Lady Eels, the Lady Jr. Lightning, the Tampa Bay Titans and Tampa Prep.
 
Cole is a Level 5 Master USA Hockey Coach and a Level 3 USA Hockey Ice Hockey Official.  David has worked as a Hockey School instructor at Wes Walz Minnesota Wild Hockey Schools, Boston University, University of Maine, Elite Hockey Schools and Digit Murphy's Hockey School. During his tenure with the Lightning, Cole also launched a Sled Hockey program allowing those with physical disabilities to get on the ice for the first time and experience the exciting game of hockey.

Currently David Cole is the Girls Varsity Assistant and Goaltending Coach at the Blake School in Minneapolis, MN.
